There are two versions of the UK KIndle – one with Wifi, and one with 3G.
The Wifi Kindle can, as the name suggests, use only Wifi for downloading books, magazines and other reading matter. The 3G version can use Wifi as well as 3G, so wherever you can get a 3G signal in the UK, you can download your Kindle ebooks.

Now I love my Sony ebook reader -  I wouldn’t be without it and take it everywhere with me. Coursework, novels, dictionaries – they’re all on there and available at the touch of a button.
